GARRA SPRINGFIELD WORKSHOP
Garra Springfield held its first ever work shop on Friday 5th August 2011. Under the tuition of Professor. Eduardo Dias, the workshop was hosted at the Garra headquarters in Kelvin Grove.
Philip Graham (purple belt instructor of Garra Springfield) brought down his brightest eager young disciples to expand and share the knowledge of traditional brazilian jiu jitsu. The youthes all ranged from the ages of 13 – 15 years of age. Instructor Philip hopes to “sharpen up the future young guns from Garra”.
Prof. Eduardo comments “It is great to have students at thier age. They are moving well, learning fast and are keen on the game aspect of brazilian jiu jitsu. I sincerely had a great time training with them!” Prof. Eduardo sang nothing but praise for his head instructor of Garra Springfield “Judging on the level of ability the boys have shown me, Philip is doing a commendable job.”
Eduardo and Philip will continue to collaborate and hope to open more opportunities for youth workshops in the future.
Look out Garra veterans! The future young guns of Garra are locked on target and ready to roll!!!
