Garra is rolling in Gold from students Ian Miln, Matt and Tony Torrisi. This month the students have entered 3 various competitions with all the same out come: Gold.
Ian Milne entered the SGQ’s Submission Grappling Tournament Brisbane. Fighting in divisions of Gi and No – Gi, Ian faught with determination, winning all his fights via submission. Ian brought home 2 Gold for both the No – Gi novice division and the White belt, Light weight Gi.
Matt frend ventured out to QBJJCs Gold Coast competition to take the gold in the
Males White belt middle weight division. Matt utilized the ‘bow and arrow choke’ in under 35seconds. What a great way to finish off the finals!
Tony Torrisi flew to New Zealand to compete in the Abu Dhabi Trials. Competitors from 47 selected countries are able to enter the trials all vying for the winning all expenses paid tickets to fly to Abu Dahbi to fight against the best fighters in the world. Tony faught with the drive to win, winning the Gold in his weight division and narrowly missing out on the finals by 1 advantage point.
