Congratulations to Tyrone Johns and Anker Fuglsang for achieving their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black-belts at the latest Garra BJJ Grading. Well done guys for reaching this milestone!
Ty and Anker were the first students to train with Master Eduardo Dias when he arrived in Brisbane many years ago. Now, they are the first of Eduardo’s students to attain the coveted Black Belt. They both have shown great personal discipline and dedication to Jiu Jitsu, and the many years of hard training have definately paid off!
Garra will now have 5 BJJ Black Belts teaching in its Academy in Queensland. This can only benefit Jiu Jitsu in Australia, and places Garra in a unique position as the leading BJJ Academy in Queensland.
