DIVISIONS
The weights shown for Divisions(1-4) are the maximum for each weight division in Kilograms and under (U) unless otherwise specified.
Competitors are given a 3Kg Gi allowance in addition to the weight divisions provided (eg. A purple belt 65kg division can weigh up to 68kg in total)

ADULT DIVISIONS
1. OPEN DIVISIONS
1.1 Adult Male and Masters Competitors have two open division categories for their relevant belts:
LIGHT OPEN WEIGHT DIVISION
To compete in this division you must have competed in your weight division and you must be under 74kg plus 3 kilos allowance for the Gi (77kg total weight)
HEAVY OPEN WEIGHT DIVISION
To compete in this division you must have competed in a weight division over 74.
1.2 Adult Female Competitors have one open division cateory relevant for their perspective belt:
OPEN DIVISION
To compete in this divison you must have competed in your weight division.
2. JUNIOR DIVISIONS
Selected Junior age divisions are ‘position only’ competition. No submissions are permitted for these divisions. The junior competitor with the most points by the end of the regulated time is declared winner. (Unless due to other circumstances for example injury or draw, where it is a referee decision).

Each division must have 3 or more competitors to make a full division. If the division has 2 or less competitors, the division will be combined with another weight category.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF COMPETITORS PER DIVISION
Please note that if there is one competitor registered in any one division, that division will be cancelled and the competitor will automatically be elevated into the next weight division.
If there are not enough competitors in the next weight division then that division will be cancelled and the competitors are entitled to a refund.
To receive top prizes in a division, there must be at least three competitors in that division. Otherwise only medals will be given.
No refunds will be given if the competitor fails to make the weight nominated on the registration form. Automatic disqualification will occur if the competitor fails to make weight.
ONLY the divisions listed are permitted in the competition.
MATCH DURATION
Junior (ages 5 – 10) White to Green belts – 3min
Junior (ages 11 – 12) White to Green belts – 4min
Teens (ages 13-15) White to Green belts – 4min
Adult/Master Divistions
White and Blue belts until final – 5min
Purple, Brown and Black belts until final – 6min
All Belts in finals – 6min
