This is a time of celebration when the Garra family gathers to enjoy a great training session and participate in witnessing or receiving new belts and stripes.
It is important to understand that a student’s performance at the grading ceremony will NOT affect the decision whether they receive a new belt or stripe. This decision is based on the collated effort of a student over the past 6-12 months focusing on consistency of training, attitude and personal conduct on and off the mats, respect for their teammate/instructors, and of course, their technical ability and overall performance including personal achievements. If you are unable to attend the grading on the nominated date you may book a personal grading. The fee for the personal grading is $90 by booking only.
